I can't remember too much of what I did today, but I do know that I packed for New York. I had a lot of stuff so I ended up having to take out a couple of things, and Kristen and Mom took put some of my things into their suitcases. Oops. :/

June 29, 2011

Today I had an orthodontist appointment. I didn't get anything major done; I just got the color of my bands changed from purple to red.

Afterwards, my sister, my mom, and I went shopping at a few places. When I got home, I started packing for New York. Fitting things into a quart size bag is harder than you would think. :/ Since I'm almost done with packing, I think I'll spend a little time tomorrow filming.

Today was a pretty simple day. I had my second guitar lesson with Ryan, and we worked more on "Live a Little" by Kenny Chesney. I can actually pretty much play the song through now. :)

When we got back, Dad had already gotten home. Yeah, you read that right. He came home, left, and came back home in a little over 50 hours. Isn't that crazy?

We just hung out for a while and watched the Yankee game. Then we ate dinner. They all had dirty rice, but I don't like that so I ate my leftover lasagna.

I pretty much spent the rest of the night working on a video and a blog post.

Today, I got up at 10:30 a.m. on my own. Aren't you proud of me?! Anyway, I got up, and we all ate breakfast together. We chatted for a little while, and then my dad left on another business trip.

I went upstairs and got ready for my driving lesson with Graham. It went pretty well; we went over everything that's going to be on the test. He actually said he thinks I'm going to pass! Are you as shocked as I am?

After my lesson, I came home and worked on blog posts for a while.

Dad came home today! He came home around lunchtime, so we all got to eat lunch together. My mom made chicken noodle soup, and it was delicious. :) We all just hung out, talked, and caught up for a while after that.

Later that evening, my mom, my sister, and I went shopping at Target. I got an ELF blush and bronzer duo that will have to suffice in place of the NARS one that I wanted yesterday. Someday...

Anyway, once we left Target, it started thundering, and the sky was looking really creepy. However, it only rained for five minutes, and then it was all over. Stupid weather...

Today, I went to the mall! I hadn't been there in forever, so it was really nice to go. However, contrary to the past times I've gone, I drove there. By the time we got back home from dropping my sister off at her friend's house, I felt like I'd been driving all day.

While at the mall, we went into Sephora, Wet Seal, and Bath & Body Works. I would have liked to go to more places, but we got there kinda late. I'd never been in Sephora before, and I have to say...I think I'm obsessed. I really want to try out some of the things I saw in there, but I'm going to have to wait until I get a gift card. :( I'm actually kind of proud of myself; I went into a makeup store without buying anything!

Next I went into Wet Seal because I had two gift cards from Christmas and my birthday. (Thank you Uncle Ken, Aunt Kenna, Nick, Nikki, and Kody!) I got a ton of items, and I can't wait to wear them. :)

Finally, we went into Bath & Body Works because they're having a crazy sale. I got three hand sanitizers, a candle holder for the candle I got there a couple weeks ago, and a lotion.

Once we left the mall, we went out to eat at My Cousin Vinny's. It's a really good Italian restaurant that's near the mall. I got a mozzarella thingy (it was SOOOO delicious), part of a Caesar salad, a roll, and half of my lasagna. I was incredibly full after we left.

Dad's coming home tomorrow!

Today was a pretty good day. I went to have lunch with Señora at Stevi B's. It was just her, Savannah, Anna, and myself. It was a lot of fun; we all caught up with what's going on in each other lives. (We also gossiped about some of the kids at our school...haha). I really miss having Señora as a teacher; I hope we can do more get togethers soon. :)
